Melanie Peters Bright has been a first aid instructor for five years. She has worked in First Aid at various levels since she was 16. She’s held OFA level 3 and EMR certifications and licences.
Melanie has acted as medical support staff for junior hockey teams, ultra marathon athletes, and she volunteers for first aid support at sporting events throughout Southern Alberta regularly.
Melanie will travel to teach courses for groups or businesses. Classes must have at least 5 participants and hotel arrangements may be required by the client based on distance travelled and time of year.

Intermediate first aid classes are delivered in either Blended (online and 1 day in person) or 2 day in person options.
A $50 deposit is required upon registration with the balance payable the day before class begins. The deposit is non-refundable and non-transferable. Cancellation policy: 7 or more days before the class, full refund less the $50 registration fee. 3-5 days before the class, 50% refund, less the $50 registration fee. 1-2 days before the class, no refund. Some courses have an online learning component which must be completed before the in person component. If a student does not complete the online portion before the in person session, and does not cancel further to the cancelation policy timelines, they will be unable to attend the in person session and registration is not refundable. Students more than 15 minutes late will be marked as no-show and will not be refunded.
